Pudina lassi

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups curd  
1/2 cup chopped mint leaves
1/2 tsp black salt
4 tbsp sugar
1 tsp cumin seed powder
8 to 10 ice cubes

For the garnish
a few mint leaves

Method

  1. Combine all the ingredients except the ice, in a blender and blend for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add ½ cup of water and the ice-cubes and blend again for about 30 seconds.
  3. Serve immediately in small individual glasses garnished with mint leaves.

Carrot and black grape juice

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups carrots , roughly chopped  
2 cups black grapes
1/2 tsp cumin seeds powder 
2 pinches black salt
1 cup crushed ice

Method

  1. Combine the carrots with ¾ cup of water in a mixer and blend to a smooth juice. Strain the juice.
  2. Combine the carrot juice, black grapes, cumin seed powder and black salt in a mixer and blend well to a smooth juice.
  3. In each rock glass, place ¼ cup of crushed ice. Pour equal quantity of the juice over it. Serve immediately.

Fruity iced tea

Ingredients

1 glass orange juice 
2 tea bags
2 glasses water
4 tbsp sugar
16 ice cubes

To garnish
mint leaves
4 orange slices

fresh complexion express

Ingredients

2 big pineapple slices with the skin, cut into pieces  
1 medium sized cucumber cut into pieces
1/2 medium sized apple cut into pieces
crushed ice to serve

Method
Juice all the ingredients.
  1. Add some crushed ice in 2 glasses and pour the juice over it. Serve immediately.

Pineapple celery juice

Ingredients

4 cups ripe pineapple, cut into small pieces 
4 tbsp chopped celery
1 tsp black salt

Method

  1. Combine the pineapple and celery with 2 cups of water and liquidise till it becomes a purée.
  2. Add the black salt and mix well.

Tomato Apple Juice

Ingredients

1/2 cup chopped apple 
1 cup chopped tomatoes
1 tsp honey
4 to 6 ice cubes

Method

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a blender with 1 cup of water and blend till it is smooth.
  2. Pour into 2 glasses and serve immediately.

Aam panha

Things Required:

  • 1 cup raw mangoes, peeled and cubed.
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • salt to taste

Method:

  • Combine mangoes with 1/2 cup water in a microwave safe bowl and microwave on high for 2 minutes.
  • Add the sugar and microwave on high for 1 minute.
  • Add salt, mint leaves, cumin powder and mix well.
  • Grind in a blender and let it cool.
  • refrigerate in an air tight container.
  • When you ish to serve take 3 to 4 tablespoon in a glass and top it with water and ice.
  • Serve immediately.
