Popcorn

Things required:

  • 1/4 cup dried corn kernels.
  • 1/2 teaspoon oil.
  • salt to taste.

Method:

  • In a microwave safe bowl, add dried corn kernels, oil, salt and mix well.
  • Cover the bowl with a lid and microwave on high for 5 minutes.
  • Remove and let it cool and store it in an air tight container.

Poha Chivda

Things required:

  • 3 cups poha
  • 1 teaspoon mustard seeds.
  • 2 green chillies
  • 6 curry leaves
  • 2 tablepoon roasted chana dal.
  • 3 tablespoon peanuts
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder.
  • 1 teaspoon sugar.
  • 1 tablespoon oil.
  • salt to taste.

Method:

  • Place the poha on a micowave safe dish and microwave it on high for 2 minutes.Remove and keep it aside.
  • Combine oil, mustard seeds and microwave on high for 2 minutes
  • Add chopped green chillies, curry leaves, peanuts, chana dal, turmeric powder, microwave o high for 1 minute.
  • Add the poha, mix well and microwave on high for 1 more minute. let it cool completely.
  • Add sugar, salt and mix well, store in an air tight container.

Quick Pizza

Things Required:

  • 1 pizza base
  • tomato sauce
  • 1 capsicum
  • 1 cup cooking cheese
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tomato

Method:

  • Spread tomato sauce on the pizaa base.
  • Place onion rings, capsicum rings, tomato rings on top.
  • Sprinkle lot of grated cheese on it.
  • Place this pizza on the lower grill, use the microwave + grill option and microwave it for 12 minutes
  • Serve hot.

Macaroni

Things required

  • 1 cup cooked macroni
  • 2 onions
  • 1 large capcicum
  • 3 large tomatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 teaspoon chilli powder
  • 1 small can baked beans
  • 5 to 6 tablespoon tomato kechup
  • 1/4 cup grated cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • salt to taste

Method:

  • Put the tomatoes in a microwave safe dish and microwave on high for 5 minutes. once it cools remove the skin and make puree.
  • Put the butter in the microwave safe bowl. Add onion rings and microwave for 1 minute.
  • Add capsicum rings and microwave for 2 minutes
  • add garlic, tomato puree, chilli powder and microwave for 2 minutes.
  • Add macaroni, baked beans, tomato ketchup, salt and mix well.
  • cover with capcicum  nd onions rings, sprnkle cheese on top. microwave on high for about 4 minutes.
  • Serve hot.

Besan Laddoo

Things required:

  • 1 cup besan
  • 1/3 cup ghee
  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar

Method:

  • In a microwave safe bowl add besan, ghee and mix well.
  • microwave on high for 3 minutes, stir in between.
  • remove and let it cool completely.
  • Add the cardamom powder, sugar and mix well.
  • Now make laddoos. store it in an air tight container

Rice Kheer

Things required:

  • 6 tablespoon basmati rice.
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup condensed milk
  • 4 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cornflour mixed in 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder

Method

  • Wash and drin rice.
  • Add 1.5 cups of water in a borosil bowl along with the rice and microwve on high for 10 minutes.
  • cover and keep aside for 10 minutes.
  • mash lightly to break the grains
  • Add milk and microwave on high for 3 minutes.
  • Add condensed milk and sugar and mix well. microwave on high for 2 minutes.
  • Add cornflour paste, cardamom powder and microwave on high for 1 minute.
  • Garnish with dry fruits, serve hot or cold.

Gajar Ka Halwa

Things required:

  • 2 cups grated carrots
  • 1/4 cup milk powder
  • 5 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 1 tablespoon ghee

Method:

  • In a borosil bowl ombine ghee and carrots, cover with a lid and microwave on high for 4 minutes.
  • Add milk powder, sugar, cardamom powder, mix well, cover with a lid and microwve on high for 2 minutes.
  • garnish with pistachios and cashew, serve hot

Instant Rabdi

Things required:

  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup fresh bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cornflour mixed in 1 tablespoon of milk

Method:

  • Combine milk, bread crumbs, condensed milk, sugar, cardamom powder in a microwave safe dish and microwave on high for 5 minutes, stir in between.
  • Add the cornflour paste and microwave again on high for 2 minutes.
  • Let the mixture cool and serve chilled. Garnish with cashew and almonds.
